Setting up Osnaps
Hold down shift key and right mouse key same time. You will see a popup menu which has Osnap settings option. Take this as a route to the drafting settings dialog box. Tick the select all box.
Now you have many more useful Osnaps such as mid point, nearest and perpendicular.
The shift+right mouse menu can be used to single out one particular Osnap. For example, you might use it to find mid point Osnap, when that might be obscured by other objects.
Another useful option on this shift+right mouse menu is "Mid between 2 points". That can save you having to draw a line in order to use it's mid point.
