CAD job vacancies Cambridge, Shrewsbury, London
These are initially part time job positions providing CAD training to new and existing customers in the local area. Current earnings in today's depressed climate would be around £5000 per year. Starting on a part time job basis of £150 per day you will be able to supplement your earnings after independent skills certification by providing local CAD drafting services.
Typical CAD qualifications such as City & Guilds or Essentials, will not be counted as relevant unless you have used Autocad software, on a regular basis in a work or training environment and gained fluency at some point in your work experience.
It's surprising that many candidates with excellent CAD qualifications would fail our independent Knowledgesmart Autocad skills assessment at a job interview. This could be because in the current climate, the candidate may not have used CAD software for many years. Gone are the days when students went straight from a CAD course into a job. Even degree courses don't usually offer much more than an outline of the basics of Autocad. Knowledgesmart assessments are typically based around questions set by employers. Therefore to pass an assessment, you must be familiar with advanced and intermediate topics which are not covered on basic courses. Any CAD qualifications you do have will be irrelevant if you fail a Knowledgesmart assessment at a job interview.
A 5 day update training course place, with Knowledgesmart skills certification, will be made available to the successful applicants.
