Low Cost Autocad Training to suit your needs

Government apprenticeships

Improve your chances of selection

Autocad training

It's good news that the government is helping to create apprenticeships and temporary job vacancies.

Will this lead to a job for you? Hopefully. The downside is that you will be in competition with hundreds if not thousands of others.

How many people do you know who actually got a job as a result of a government inspired training course? Employers get to take advantage of low cost labour and the government takes your name off the list of unemployed.

So why not improve your prospects of actual employment with our certified and current CAD skills schemes? Make this clear on your CV to improve your chances of selection for an apprenticeship.

Let your apprenticeship employer know about your certified CAD skills. Chances are that you could be shunted off into a full time CAD position. Job done!

What could attract an employer to your CV?

Recently a project manager, who works for one of our customers, related his exasperation with a well qualified CAD person who had achieved nothing worthwhile by lunch time, on the day of his appointment.

It only takes rumours, triggered through a few embarrassing mistakes like the situation above, for employers to demand a more objective recruitment process. In their eyes what is the point of CAD qualifications if a job candidate can't do one of the most important aspects of the job?

Furthermore, it's not worth the risk in today's climate for employers to fill a CAD vacancy with a person who needs some "top up training". When there are more certain candidates from our courses, who have certified current CAD skills.

So they are increasingly turning to independent Knowledgesmart assessments. For confirmation of this just take a look at their testimonials on the Knowledgesmart web site www.knowledgesmart.net

It's surprising that many candidates with good CAD qualifications would fail an assessment. This could be because in the current climate they haven't used CAD software for many years. Gone are the days when students went straight from a CAD course into a job. Even degree courses don't usually offer much more than an outline of the basics of Autocad.

So this begs the question. Why not study what employers are looking for, so that you can start applying for well paid CAD jobs sooner rather than later?

Our philosophy: if individuals are allowed to work at their own pace, with plenty of opportunity to practice their CAD skills, we can offer a faster route to the point when they can start applying for CAD jobs.

Our course covers more than just the basics. As an example, understanding and using Xref''s. Start talking about the beneficial concepts behind Xref's in your job interview and you could be streets ahead of your competition.

Even then you might fail an CAD skills assessment at a job interview. However you would still be able to impress with a demonstration of your CAD skills, on their CAD work.

Your success is our success.
